Join us at the Cranston Residents Association for the best Summer Day Camps in the
city! This year, we are taking our camps to new heights, with each week designed around a specific theme suitable for all boys and girls ages 5-12!!! Our programs will be offered
from 9am-4pm daily, in a safe, fun, and friendly environment for children to learn new skills, explore their creativity, develop confidence and to make everlasting friendships with children in their community! Cooperative games, sports, outdoor activities, crafts and special events designed to each theme will be sure to create lasting memories for your child!

Camps will fill up quickly, and registration is done on a first come, first serve basis. We also offer a daily rate of $40/day for both residents and non-residents. More great news: we are completely committing to you! Camps will run every single day they are offered, with no fear of cancellation due to low registration numbers! Before care (8-9am) and after care (4-5pm) is also available by special request, at no extra charge. Send your child with peanut free snacks and a lunch...and we will take care of everything
else...making your summer childcare and entertainment solution stress free!

Week 1: Around The World In 5 Days: Mon, July 9th 2012- Fri, July 13th 2012 Children will explore the culture of 5 countries with us, by learning traditional games, sports, snacks, crafts, and clothing of a different country each day!
Week 2: It's All Fun And Games: July 16th 2012 - Fri, July 20th 2012 Baseball, Soccer, Ball Hockey, Basket Ball, Volleyball, and Badminton are several of the sports children can expect to be highlighted during this week long camp! Not so into sports? No worries! Cooperative games, game show challenges, wide games, a talent show, and other fun activities will also monopolize children’s time throughout the week,
because.... it’s all about fun and games!
Week 3: Survivor, Stranded in C Town: Mon, July 23rd 2012 - Fri, July 27th 2012 Participants will be divided in tribes to complete fun challenges, create tribal flags, play
games and earn points to become the champions of Survivor: Stranded in C Town... a
week long game, designed to build fantastic cooperation skills!!! Children will also enjoy learning orienteering, animal tracking, making campfire treats, how to build their own
shelter in the wilderness, and so much more! Don’t worry though, no one will be voted out of our camp!
Week 4: Where The Wild Things Are: Mon, July 30th 2012 - Fri, August 3rd 2012 Nature calls! Children will grab their safari hats and head on an adventure with us into the unknown of the wild! Discover interesting facts about animals, make bug catchers, participate in a scavenger hunt, make a bird feeder, and much much more! The week will conclude with a hike to Fish Creek Provincial Park, for a hands on discovery of our
fascinating natural world!
Week 5: Cranston's Cooking School: Tue, August 7th 2012 - Fri, August 10th 2012 Any child will love getting down and dirty in our kitchen, while learning to make nut free simple meals, treats, and snacks of the culinary world. Participants will make their own lunch each day! Children will also enjoy outdoor time, and other activities to add a little “spice” to their week!
Week 6: Mad Science Mania: Mon, August 13th 2012 - Fri, August 17th 2012 Strap on your goggles and prepare to experiment with us, during this ‘edu-taining’ week! Experiments, explosions, flubber making, potions, and fun interactive activities will make this week an explosive success with your child! Children will also enjoy outdoor time, and other activities to add variety to their week!
Week 7: Gleetastic: Mon, August 20th 2012 - Fri, August 24th 2012 Even the shyest children will break out of their shell and discover their inner superstar during this week devoted to the performing arts! Improv and theater games, lip-singing shows, costume making, t-shirt tie dying, outdoor games, and so much more will jam pack this fun filled week! Parents arewelcome to join us from 3-4pm on Friday, August 24th 2012 for a private viewing of Cranston Has Talent- the children’s very own talent show, which will showcase their talent discoveries throughout the week! Special note: Children are asked to bring a plain white t-shirt on Wednesday, to enjoy our “t-shirt tie dying” activity.

Not so into sports? No worries! Cooperative games, game show challenges, wide games, a talent show, and other fun activities will also monopolize children’s time throughout the week, because.... it’s all about fun and games! Although this theme is the same theme as week 2, the activities will be different, therefore; it will be a whole new camp for the children.
